Your infant has grown and you no longer have a use for the baby bottle dish rack. What are other uses for that dish rack? How about making a peg board that aids with your infant’s hand-eye coordination? Your child is growing and will need activities that aid with fine motor skills. The ability to use the smaller muscles in fingers and hands. This pegboard activity is excellent to help. You will need:
>Dish rack
>Cardboard from toilet rolls or paper towels
>Wooden reels / spools,
>You can also use sewing thread reels /spoolsOne morning a laid these on the floor and waited to see if the infants would play or walk on by. They stopped and played and ever since these toys await their morning arrivals.
This activity is fun and will have your little ones spending quality time learning a new skill with materials you may already have.
If you have twins or operate a daycare like I do, your little ones may end up sharing like these little ones did. Sharing is a great social-emotional skill to have. I hope they will enjoy the activity as much as how these little ones do on a daily basis. As always…Thanks Very Much for stopping by…Miss Sue
