An easy fun rainy day, draw out of the hat activity that will have your toddler and preschooler increase their fine motor skills. We are moms, the queens of multitasking and some days we just don’t have everything together. On days like that, this activity will be a hit. Also a great activity for color recognition and counting skills. This website contains affiliates and I may get a commission off sales from this site.
Get some foam -( you can use flower foams), skewers, and some beads. Break skewers and push into the foam. Insert the sharp area in foam. Have your little ones count beads as they stack the skewer. Toddlers should be supervised as these are small parts and may present a choking hazard. The children are always delighted to see their completed work. They had a great time adding them to the skewers.
They keep repeating this activity and it’s one of their favored fine motor activity.
They added as many beads as the skewer could handle.
These beautiful beads help create gorgeous patterns.
Hoping your little ones will have fun with these as much as the kids in my care did. Miss Sue
Life with Senu and Heru. They have been having sleepovers for years. This is one of my favorite photos of them sleeping together. May they continue to grow with love forever …Selah.
