Shaving Cream and Food Coloring Fun Sensory Play For all AGES

November 12, 2017 By Lil' Bebe Academy Leave a Comment

Kids bored at home during the cold months? Having difficulty with fun activities? Have you tried shaving cream and food coloring? This is a quick and easy activity for young and older children. Add some covering to your floor, a shallow basin, shaving cream and food coloring and let them play.

The children in this activity ranged from ages three to nine years old. As they began to play the colors started to blend and mix into different shades and hues that created beautiful transient art.

This activity went on and on and is always one of their favorite things to do.  They enjoyed the sensory play and kept adding more food coloring to their foam.  They also squished the foam around their fingers that created sounds and more puffiness.

A tub, shaving cream, and food coloring created a lot of imaginative play for active children.

Seasons change and to keep active kids active, we at times take the outside activities inside.   Miss Sue:)
