Create Beautiful Postage Mail With Kids Art

January 3, 2018 By Lil' Bebe Academy Leave a Comment

Never send a dull envelope in the mail again.  Transform your letters with your children art.  For this project get some blank envelopes…any size that, will be used by your household.  I am still old school with mailing payments for some bills instead, of online payments. One day looking at a plain envelope I thought, why not give the children to make art.  So, I gave my kids some potato stamp to paint with, which is still one of my fondest childhood memories. I remember those primary school days of using potato stamp as artwork for many……. many projects. See how I made the potato stamp. Grab some paint, the potato stamp and it’s a simple dip and stamp. After the envelope is painted, let dry overnight and you’ll have a beautiful letter to send.  No need to seal or gloss the artwork just dry and use.  If you want you can do the backside also, just avoid painting the seal area…it will get stuck and you’ll be unable to put a letter in the slot. And with a little paint and imagination, a plain envelope was transformed.  And what better way to send their college funds payment, than in an envelope they decorated.Got kids? Utilize their art and never send a plain envelope out again.  Miss Sue 🙂
