Children learn to spell their names at some point before kindergarten (I hope). Here at Lil Bebe Academy, we love to help them with their names, often times while role-playing, making introductions, greetings, and handshakes – you never know if you’re grooming the president. Here is one way we teach children to spell their names.
Cut a piece of cardboard from an old box, diaper box or any of your Amazon packages – this is a fun way to recycle.
Use a sharpie to write their names on your dollar store clothespin. This is perfect for small or large group activities. We incorporate these in our circle time activities. Along with children early literacy skills, it also helps them with fine motor skills – to open and close the clothespin.
Easy fun and takes no time to make. Have fun making these for your children 🙂
