At our play school, we believe in childhood as it should be—joyful, free, and connected to nature. We are gardeners and stewards of the natural world, fostering a love for outdoor exploration, hands-on discovery, and creative learning.
Our children get messy, play outdoors in all seasons, and embrace the wonders of nature through gardening, sensory-rich activities, and meaningful connections with the environment.
A Little About Our Playschool
- Full-Time Program – Families may choose fewer days, but the weekly rate remains the same.
- Hours – Open Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM.
- Small Ratios, Home-Like Setting – One adult per six mixed-age children (18 months – 4 years old).
- Located on the lower level of my home (not a basement).
- Emergent, Nature-Based Learning – We follow children’s interests instead of rigid, traditional methods.
- Daily Outdoor Play – All Year Round! – We embrace all seasons, in rain, sun, snow, and wind. Children are active and learn resilience by engaging with nature in real-time.
- Messy Play Encouraged! – Sensory exploration is at the heart of our program. Children learn through touch, texture, and creativity—yes, they will get messy!
- Potty Training Support – I work with parents to help their child through this transition.
- A Daily Flow of Awe, Wonder & Curiosity – Our rhythm is designed to inspire joy, creativity, and exploration.
- Nap Time from 1 PM – 3 PM – Our program accommodates children taking one nap per day.
- Tuition – $355 per week for all ages.
- Closures – We close for one week of spring break, two weeks of summer break, one week of winter break, and all federal holidays.
